- May Day Parade - 25 volunteers involved in Parade & Booth that gave out 1,300
pieces of lit and 1,500 Obama stickers. xxx new volunteers were signed up.
- Obama Minnesota Grassroots Organization Structure.
- Walk for Obama Saturday, June 9th Event
- National Effort Across the Country with Focus of Heavily Progressive Areas of the Country.
- At least 10,000 pieces of literature from the Campaign.
- Goal at Least 200 Volunteers to Sign-Up
- Canvass (Door to Door). Great learning experience on how to do this.
- Obama Visit Friday, June 29th Event (Weekend before 4th of July)
- Large & Small Donor Events
- Small Donor Event - Boom Island Minneapolis Park on the Mississippi River just north of Downtown Minneapolis & Hennepin Bridge
- Large Donor Event - Downtown Minneapolis
- Small Donor Event Tickets - ($10 Students/Seniors & $25
- Tickets On Sale Online (Soon) & Probably Paper tickets. Discussing Having Ticket
- Obam will Speak Other Details are in Planning - Other Upcoming Events
- Peace on the Northside Event - Saturday, June 19th
- Minnesota Aids Walk - Sunday, June 20th
- Minnesota Obama Gear
- Plan to not do this due to concern about Obama Minnesota becoming a PAC and then cannot have contact with the campaign.
