www.barackobama.com - position on issues, news, donate, organize, events, groups, communicate (email, blog). Signup by hitting the "Get Involved" tab and entering email address, password, and filling out profile information.
barackobama.wetpaint.com - Obama wiki space for information and to create your own or modify other content (ex Minneapolis Book Club, Mpls Meeting Agenda). Signup by hitting the "Get Involved" tab and entering email address, password, and filling out profile information. Sign up (not required to use site) by select "Sign Up" in upper right hand of window and fill out sign up screen.

Obama Minnesota Internet Tools & Signup
1. my.barackobama.com/page/group/ObamaMinnesota. Obama Minnesota group for all Minnesota volunteers and regular communication through blog and emails. To join after signing in from "My.BarackObam.Com" select "My Groups" enter "55408" zip code & "Search". Select "Obama Minnesota" group from list and join group.
2. my.barackobama.com/page/group/ObamaMinnesotaStateOrganizers. Obama Minnesota group for all volunteers who want to organize/lead groups or events. To join after signing in from "My.BarackObam.Com" select "My Groups" enter "55408" zip code & "Search". Select "Obama Minnesota State Organizers" group from list and join group. Need to be approved by organizer due to being a private group.
3. my.barackobama.com/page/group/ObamaBookClub. Obama Book Club group for all
book club members. Same as above excet group is "Obama Book Club"
4. barackobama.wetpaint.com/page/Obama+Book+Club+-+Audacity+of+Hope. Minneapolis Obama Book Club - The Audacity of Hope study guide. Sign in to this wiki space using the "Sign In" button at top.

Find/Join/Create/Manage an Obama Event
1. Find & Join an Event. Signin and slect "My Event" and select "Find An Event". Enter your zip code and how many miles from this zip code and hit "Search" button. Select the event and select join. You can also find events by looking at your "My Dashboard" which will show events near you and coming up in the near future under "Events Near You".
2. Create an Event. Signin and slect "My Event" and select "Create an Event".
* Enter zip code for event and event type (Community Service, Fundraising, Meeting, or Organizing. Hit "Continue to Step 2" button.
* Fill out event information (location, date, time, description). Especially note to fill in "Capacity Limit" and link to appropriate groups "Obama Minnesota" & "Obama Minnesota State Organizers" so we can keep track of events and it will show up on group page.
3. Manage an Event. Signin and slect "My Event" and select "Manage Your Events".
* Select the specific event by from window by select "Manage Event" button next to event. You can email attendees, invite new attendees, & change details of the event.
Blog to Obama Minnesota
1. Signin & select "My Blog" from the "My.BarackObama.com"
2. Select "Write New Post"
3 Write blog entry and select "Obama Minnesota" and/or other groups from bottom of menu.
