We are so excited, we got both!! This is just the beginning of the "TEAM" concept that Obama has in mind. When he has his cabinet put together, he will meet every week and discuss that has to be done due to the importance of matters. He may even have someone who will be a liason of all the Governors, because he DOES want to work from the bottom up. That is how the Japaneese came back from WWII. This will change Washington more than anything. This team will be in touch with the American people first and work out the kinks at the bottom, moving up to the President's team. I could be wrong, but I feel this is how he is going to manage. Our government is going to be turned up side down, and I love it! Post reply 7 out of 10 found this valuable. " Yesterday, Friday November 7th an amazing thing happened. Our new President Elect and his Vice President Elect stepped out of a room where they met with some of the economic geniouses in the country. One of the members even commented that he had never met anyone who listened to everyone and took notes and asked important questions. Then he and Joe Biden took all the information they had and held a press conference that lasted only 30 minutes. President Obama stated the economic plan they had, and advised each of us that it was going to be difficult, but we had to do it to get our country back, and out of debt. He spoke to us all like we were adults. He shared openly with us about his meeting. There were no secrets. He took a few questions and left. This man is brilliant! Everyone keeps talking about how this is the first African American to be President - but lets face it folks, he was not elected due to his race. He was elected because it was his time to lead the country, and it was Joe Biden's time to share his knowledge with his new president. Sure, being the first African American to be president will go down in history, but the main reason he was elected was because he is brilliant, and we can trust him.
